Trees.org (Trees for the Future) is a US-based nonprofit organization focused on restoring degraded land and improving the livelihoods of smallholder farmers through sustainable agroforestry. Their mission is to fight poverty, hunger, and climate change by training farmers to build “Forest Gardens” — diverse agricultural systems where trees and crops grow together to regenerate soil, increase food production, and create long-term income. Since its founding in 1989, the organization has planted millions of trees worldwide and continues working toward large-scale environmental restoration and community development.
