How Does StudioBrickRo Display His LEGO® F1 Collection? Inside Our Latest Creator Collaboration

A LEGO® collection can start with a single model, but as more builds are completed, one question becomes increasingly important:
Where do you display them all?
Our latest collaboration with LEGO creator StudioBrickRo takes us inside his collector room to answer exactly that question.
In his newest video, StudioBrickRo installs the ICUANUTY Display Wall Mount for LEGO Technic™ Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance 42171, demonstrates the installation process and RGB lighting, and gives viewers a closer look at the growing LEGO collection inside his home office.
For us, this collaboration is more than a product showcase. It provides a real example of how a LEGO collector uses wall space as the collection continues to grow.

Meet StudioBrickRo

StudioBrickRo is a LEGO content creator whose collection covers far more than one theme.
His videos feature builds ranging from Formula 1 and Technic cars to football, Ferrari, Porsche, Batman, Botanicals and Harry Potter. In the latest collaboration video, he takes viewers around his home office and shows how these different models have gradually become part of his collector space.
This makes his content particularly interesting from a display perspective.
Instead of seeing a wall frame photographed by itself, viewers can see how it actually looks when surrounded by an established LEGO collection.
You can follow his latest LEGO content on StudioBrickRo on YouTube and StudioBrickRo on Instagram.

Building a LEGO® F1 Display Wall

Our collaboration with StudioBrickRo has gradually become part of his LEGO automotive display.
He has used several ICUANUTY products, including:
  • Five [SpectraFlow Series] Wall Display Frames for LEGO Technic™ Formula 1™ Cars
  • Wall Display Frame for LEGO Technic™ Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear Megacar 42232
  • Display Wall Mount for LEGO Technic™ Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance 42171
In the latest video, the Mercedes 42171 becomes the newest addition.
StudioBrickRo explains that the Mercedes will be positioned next to his McLaren, while he is already considering adding Red Bull, Ferrari and Aston Martin models to the same wall.
This is where an individual wall display begins to become something larger:
a complete LEGO F1 collection wall.

Installing the Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 42171 Wall Display

One of the useful parts of StudioBrickRo's video is that he doesn't simply show the finished result.
He shows the actual installation.
The package includes the mounting hooks, pins, tape measure and installation instructions required for mounting the display. The RGB version shown in his video also includes a remote control for the LED strip.
During installation, he also discovers a useful detail about the mounting system: the hooks on the back can be adjusted horizontally, allowing their position to be changed when aligning the frame with the holes in the wall.
That kind of real installation experience is particularly useful because it shows collectors what happens between opening the package and seeing the finished LEGO model on the wall.

RGB Lighting Changes the Display

The version featured in StudioBrickRo's video incorporates RGB LED lighting around the frame, powered through a USB connection and controlled using the included remote.
Once the Mercedes is mounted, he demonstrates several lighting colors, including:
white, red, green, yellow, blue and purple.
He ultimately chooses green for the finished setup.
The lighting becomes especially effective inside a collector room because it helps visually separate the LEGO car from the surrounding models and gives the F1 wall a stronger presence when the room lighting is lower.
StudioBrickRo's reaction after completing the installation was simple:
“It looks absolutely amazing!”
Later in the video, he describes the ICUANUTY display frames as looking “sensational.”

Inside StudioBrickRo’s Collector Room

One of the most interesting parts of this collaboration is not just the Mercedes display itself.
It's everything around it.
StudioBrickRo films from home, and viewers had previously asked him to show more of his LEGO collection. In the video, he takes viewers around the room, revealing areas dedicated to F1 Speed Champions, Koenigsegg, McLaren, Ferrari, Porsche, Fast & Furious, football, Batman, Botanicals, Harry Potter and more.
That context matters.
A LEGO wall display looks very different when shown inside an actual growing collection rather than against an empty studio wall.
His collector room demonstrates how wall-mounted models can coexist with shelves, smaller builds and other collecting themes without requiring every LEGO car to occupy another horizontal surface.
For collectors facing the same problem, it provides a simple idea:
Don't only look at your shelves. Look at your walls.

From One F1 Display to a Growing Collection

Perhaps the most revealing moment comes at the end of the video.
After installing the Mercedes beside the McLaren, StudioBrickRo looks at the remaining wall space and asks his viewers:
“Do you think I can fit three more here?”
He then mentions the next possibilities:
Red Bull, Ferrari and Aston Martin.
That is exactly how many collector rooms evolve.
One model becomes two.
Two become a row.
Eventually, the wall itself becomes part of the collection.
Rather than treating each LEGO F1 car as an isolated model, using a consistent display format can bring several cars together into one visual collection.

Why Creator Collaborations Matter to ICUANUTY

Working with collectors like StudioBrickRo gives us something that conventional product photography cannot:
real-world experience.
We can see how collectors install our products, where they position them, which models they combine, how lighting is used and how the display works inside an established collection.
It also gives other LEGO enthusiasts a more realistic reference when planning their own collector rooms.
StudioBrickRo isn't showing an empty demonstration space.
He's showing his office, his LEGO collection and the way he chooses to display it.
That's what makes this collaboration meaningful to us.

Final Thoughts

StudioBrickRo's collector room shows something familiar to many LEGO enthusiasts: a collection is rarely finished.
There is always another model waiting to be built and another space waiting to be filled.
His latest Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 42171 installation also shows how a single wall-mounted model can gradually become part of a larger LEGO F1 display—with McLaren already beside it and Red Bull, Ferrari and Aston Martin potentially coming next.
For ICUANUTY, seeing our display frames become part of a real collector's room is one of the most valuable parts of working with creators.
And judging by StudioBrickRo's final question, his F1 wall may not be finished yet.
Build it. Display it. Keep the collection growing.
